On Friday, February 16th, students and a teacher from Seishin Gakuen High School (Kashima City, Ibaraki Prefecture) toured the sample storage facility of Biobank Japan (BBJ). This tour was made possible by the Institute of Medical Science’s program for junior high and high school students to tour research facilities as part of society-industry-academia collaboration.

BBJ welcomes facility tours from a wide range of backgrounds, including government officials, research and educational institutions, private companies, patient organizations, and students.
