Associate Professor Paul O’Reilly and Dr. Clive Hoggart, the specialists in statistical genetics from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the USA, visited the Biobank Japan (BBJ) on Monday, September 2. The researchers engaged in discussions with BBJ’s Director Prof. Koichi Matsuda (Graduate School of Frontier Sciences) and Prof. Takayuki Morisaki (Graduate School of Frontier Sciences) about joint research, followed by a tour of the DNA and serum sample storage facilities.

The BBJ welcomes visitors from divers backgrounds, including government officials, personnel from research and educational institutions, private companies, patient advocacy groups, and students.
