Associate Professor Paul O’Reilly and Dr. Clive Hoggart, the specialists in statistical genetics from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the USA, visited the Biobank Japan (BBJ) on Monday, September 2. The researchers held discussions on joint research with BBJ’s Director Prof. Koichi Matsuda (Graduate School of Frontier Sciences) and Prof. Takayuki Morisaki (Graduate School of Frontier Sciences), and then toured the BBJ’s DNA and serum sample storage facilities.

BBJ welcomes visitors from a wide range of backgrounds, including government officials, research and educational institutions, private companies, patient groups, and students etc.
